Its been too long...

Well so its been a long time since I have updated this...
Over the last month I have seen the power of our Lord move in many ways, of course He was always moving, it was I who failed to recognize the work of His mighty hand. How faithful our God is, even when we are faithless. It amazes me how much He truly loves us and uses us as a vessel of honor sanctified, useful for the master and prepared for every good work.

This is something sweet the Lord showed me last week. Check out Jeremiah 29:11-14. This promise was given to the Israelites right before they went into the captivity of Babylon for 70 years. Im also going to a Nehemiah Bible study on Thurs nights, which in the timeline of Biblical events, is the period of restoration after the children of Israel leave Babylon. The Lord always has amazing plans for His children, to give them a future and a hope. We are placed into the midst of trials for some of own mistakes, the snare of the enemy and well just because we live in a fallen world. However, the Lord allows all of them and whatever the reason of a trial the Lord is and will work it all for the good. To draw us closer to Him, to be more fully equipped for whatever is to come next, for ministering to others, for the furthering of the gospel...the people, as God promised were brought out of captivity and restored to a closer relationship with Him.

Praise the Lord for the last 3 weeks in what has felt like a Babylon. He has taught me so much in my own life that I know required this time and experience to teach it to my thick skull. How great is the unfailing patience of our everlasting all-loving God to weak minded failing frail humans. wow that thought blows my mind.

anyway....theres a peak inside my head, if I would have wrote about a serious look inside my head, that could take all night and I have all my homework left... :)

Hope that you are blessed as we both realize how incredibly our God cares for us.

Lake Havasu Missions Trip

There are seven of us Bible College students going on a missions trip to lake havasu in Arizona on tuesday night and we will be staying until Sunday. I am so excited for what the Lord is going to do in and through our team. We will be staying at peoples houses from the church, Calvary Chapel Lake Havasu.

Please keep in prayer...
-the Lord's hand of protection while we drive and His provision while we are there
-2 Corinthians 12:9 the Lord is going to do a lot in my heart and the heart of everyone on the team individually, His grace is suffient for us, and through His grace made perfect in our weakness we want to be used mightly by God during this trip
-John 13:34-35 to be able to bless the believers when we are in Havasu through the love of Jesus towards one another to encourage the church body and stir in their heart the desire to minister to others and the lost
-Romans 10:17 the Lords heart for the lost and his guidance in the words to day as we minister to the people

Thank you so much!

last note:
I love you Zach Cunningham and Im praying for you, the Lord is speaking to my heart so much and I know that He is faithful to be working in your heart as well

very blessed...

This is my first semester at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, California. I am really excited to be here and continue growing in my relationship with my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. He loves us all so much, and it blows my mind in the ways that He works.

So I am finishing up my Genesis class this week. The Lord has taught me so much through this book. He has been showing me the power of prayer and fasting. Throughout the Old Testament, followers of God fasted before making decisions, of course they didnt always do this which illustrates the second thing that He has been teaching me, God doesnt use perfect people. It was Abraham's faith alone that accounted him righteous before God. Abraham believed in the one true living God, he still made mistakes, but the Lord continued to use him. So awesome. The Lord only requires us to commit our lives to Jesus Christ and He takes care of the rest. As you read Matthew 17:14-21 we see speaking of the connection of faith to prayer and fasting. There is a direct connection, when we step back from what our physical body needs we can feed our body spiritually.

It is incredible how the Lord speaks to us through His word and through the encouragement of His other servants. I have many amazing people that He has brought into my life over the past month and each person is unique and has touched my heart in a wonderful way.

I also recieved a very encouraging letter from my best friend Zach Cunningham :). It was such a blessing and brought a HUGE smile to my face.

Lots of Homework....
